Why Stuff Sucks

Another trite post about the holidays being upon us.  Doubtful, I don’t hate the holidays, so this may not go in the direction you and I think it could.  There is simply too much anger in the world, I should know, I put a whole ton of it out there.  Let’s do my least favorite thing and analyze why exists anger.  The folks at http://www.dictionary.com define anger as “a strong feeling of displeasure and belligerence aroused by a wrong; wrath; ire.”  Yeah, ok, I just lost about all interest in really going anywhere with this post.  Too obvious.  There is anger because people are stupid.  The real question is “why are people stupid?”  People are stupid because they can be.  Society too helpful.  Governments too restrictive.  Medicine too advanced.  The few have pushed technology forward while the many have been carried along by our cultural need to prevent suffering.

Yeah, I said it, and I am not taking it back.  I am talking about my country, the United States, yes, America.  Run by greedy white men, built by everyone else.  Slavery.  Immigrant labor.  Did the white people actually ever do ANYTHING but theorize about shit and tell people what to do?  Oh, right, right, they shot at people who didn’t listen to what they said to do, right, forgot about that.  This country, this “idea”, this culture we have created, how long can this theory last?  We have established the most stratified society in the world under the guise of a “free-market democracy”.  HAHAHAHAHA!  I don’t think I believed that ever, not even when I was first told that in grade school.  Then again I have my own race issues and never exactly felt part of any group, so, maybe lots of white folks really do believe we live in a democracy.  Disenfranchised.  I always liked the way that word sounded.  Maybe just because it reminds me of ‘french fries’.  Anyway.  So, the basic theory is, “secure as much power as you can, and keep the masses (non-white) undereducated and underemployed.  Excellent!  Gotta love power.  We have been succeeding at this for, oh, a few centuries now, we seem to in fact have it down so well that once in a while we need to give to some other non-bleach-white-skinned people some payment to make them and the world see us as “benevolent”.

Why exists anger?  Because I am better than you.

So much anger.
